Exchange with Other Communities in Korea and Abroad

Exchange with Other Communities in Korea and Abroad

We engage in exchanges and joint events with various domestic open-source communities such as OpenInfra Korea User Group, .NET Dev, C++ Korea, Debian Korea, and Golang Korea. We also interact with international open-source communities like Ubuntu Taiwan, Ubuntu Malaysia, Ubuntu Nepal, Ubuntu India, and FOSSASIA, and participate in UbuCon Asia, a platform for exchange among Ubuntu communities in Asia.

Expending Ubuntu and Open Source Reach and Activate Contributions

As Ubuntu is an open-source project, many contributors are needed to improve it and make it more user-friendly.
Our community engages in various activities to activate contributions to Ubuntu, such as translation contributions, bug reporting, QA/testing, and documentation. These include Global Jams events, release note translations, and mentoring through the Open Source Contribution Academy.
The community also carries out its own group studies and projects. In the past, projects such as HanJP-IM and Cobuntu were undertaken.
