Annual General Meeting

Annual General Meeting

Our community has been operating under its articles of association since December 2021, and accordingly, holds an annual general meeting at the end of March each year. At the general meeting, resolutions are made, such as reporting and approving last year's activities and financial statements, and approving this year's activity plan and budget.

Although primarily attended by organizers with voting rights, any community member interested in the community's operational status can also attend as an observer. The annual general meeting is often held in conjunction with seminars/meetups/workshops as part of a single event.

UbuCon Korea

UbuCon Korea is an annual event of the Ubuntu Korea Community where people from various backgrounds gather with the common interest of Ubuntu and open source. They come together to explore what can be done with Ubuntu and open source, and how to contribute to the Ubuntu project and community.

It has been held annually since 2023.

Seminars/Meetups

These are seminar-style gatherings related to Ubuntu and open source, typically covering lighter topics compared to conferences. They usually host around 30 participants and are held irregularly.

Workshops/Hands on Lab

We host various practical workshop events related to Ubuntu and open source, allowing participants to directly learn how to utilize them.

Global Jams

This is a gathering to contribute to the Ubuntu open-source project together. You can learn how to contribute to Ubuntu in various areas such as translation, bug reporting, documentation, and packaging, and actually participate in the contributions.
